Education Facilities

Blackstone Architects was commissioned to produce design proposals and working drawings for the interior of a dilapidated church. The scheme consisted of classrooms, community hall and educational facilities.

      • Ground Floor: Redesigned to create one large teaching space, or a series of small class rooms with flexible walls and built in storage areas. New Ablution areas and garden access that encourages indoor‑outdoor flow.
      • First Floor: Opened up into a light-filled community hall with a new larger mezzanine, ablution areas and offices.

Architectural Highlights: Bespoke internal designs and patterns, patterned carpets, curved glass walls, folding acoustic walls, built in storage and a large stained window.
